Program on Academic Leadership and Leading for Achieving Academic Excellence

Under the aegis of Project T.H.R.I.V.E, which stands for creating Transformational, Humanistic,Responsible, Innovative, Value-led Educators, IIM Amritsar curated five-day Faculty development Program for multiple batches exclusively for educators to ensure that the change starts from our end to lead this mission of imparting education with the highest quality, equity, and integrity.

IIM Amritsar conducted FDP on “Academic Leadership” and "Leading for Achieving Academic Excellence" for all the Faculty of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University,Ludhiana. The FDP helped the participants to acquire strategic and functional skills to become great educators. The diverse mix of participants provided them a platform to share varied best practices of teaching, research and assessments. The program was carefully designed by Prof. Vartika Dutta inconjunction with the senior leaders from the University. The main aim of the FDP was to help the faculty members realize their true potential and help them embark on a journey of learning and shared discovery.

This culminated in a series of interventions planned for this world-class university, and the journey was filled with learning, growth and collaborative spirit. This program was designed as per the NCF and other guidelines of NEP 2020.

Throughout these 5 intensive days, IIM Amritsar faculty delved into topics ranging from the latest advancements in educational psychology, management innovations to effective pedagogical strategies. Our dedicated team of educators and experts expanded their horizons and strengthened their commitment to excellence in education.
